Shawn Wahle: Connecting the dots

Even though Shawn's previous long career in mortgage banking allowed him to fit easily into gpac's grid, there were some struggles at the beginning of his recruitment career. But as in any other learning process, Shawn knew that as long as he kept his willingness to help people and the inner drive to succeed, the rewards would start coming when he reached the curve's apex.

For Shawn, the key to any good placement is the job's culture, even for those seeking a career as a recruiter. As he says, in those "all-in kind of situations," not feeling comfortable with a job's environment and activities can be the difference between setting yourself up for failure or succeeding.

There are no doubts for Shawn that gpac has given him a life-changing opportunity. The many benefits he has experienced since he became an Alpha Pac recruiter are proof of it, but there is no greater gratification than being able to grow and run his own business.

Due to he’s reached the Alpha Pac recruiter status, Shaw can break up his work and personal life. Thanks to the Laptop Lifestyle, he's now able to spend more quality time with his family and even go on a trip with them without any concerns.

The other self-fulfilling part of the job is the gratitude of both candidates and companies when he comes along with them during the recruitment process and helps them grow.

As a people's business, Shawn knows that relationships really matter in recruitment. For him, placements are more than connecting a company with a candidate; it's about filling needs and finding homes for job-seekers.
